Tryout Packet and information

Hey everyone!

Here are the things you need in order to come prepared the first day of clinics. These are due March 26 at 3pm (the beginning of tryout clinics). Simply click the form and print it out. Please make sure all items are checked off and in the proper order. If you do not have the 'Register My Athlete' finished the morning of tryouts, I will not allow the candidate to step into the gym. This is at the discretion of the district.

*Make sure your $25 tryout fee is paid and the receipt is stapled to the front of the packet PRIOR to the first day. We will not be accepting late applications!

Requirements for tryouts:

• Tumbling
• Round off two tuck (or higher)
• Standing tuck (or higher) 

*If you are working on your standing tuck, but have a solid back handspring, please come tryout, but you will need to throw your tucks with a spot.

• Grades/attendance 
• 3.0 GPA or HIGHER
• NO MORE than .75 CUMULATIVE attendance credit loss 

WHAT TO WEAR: 

Tryout clinic March 26 3-6pm: Bonneville colors, hair pulled back, white shoes

Interviews March 27 time TBD: Sunday best - look professional 

TRYOUTS: Plain white shirt, navy shorts, bums, white shoes, hair pulled back. 

MANDATORY DATES: If you cannot attend any of these dates, please reconsider auditioning. 

April 9, 6pm: Welcome parent meeting 

April 11 & 13, 6am-7:20am: practice for Night To Remember 

April 17, 3pm: Uniform Fitting -bring a parent 

April 17, 6:30pm: Night To Remember performance 

May 15th: Roy High Safety clinic 

June Monday-Thursday practices 7-10am

June 9, 4:30pm: Washington Terrace Days Parade
June 19-22: Cheer Camp at Ogden Eccles Center (away camp, lodging provided)

June 28-29: Little Cheer clinics

June 30: South Ogden Days Parade with little cheer

JULY: OFF!

August: Team photos with Amber Togisala:

August 2-4 TEAM RETREAT 

We are really excited to see what talent this coming year brings! Please come to practice/auditions with a positive attitude, fed, and attentive. There is only ONE day of clinics, interview, then tryout time! If you need any help, contact one of our current BHS Cheerleaders for tips and tricks at tryouts!

Yard Sign Fundraiser

Hey everyone!!!

As I've mentioned in the previous parent meeting and in other emails, we are giving as many fundraising opportunities available to help everyone pay for this year and for nationals! That being said, here is another fundraiser!!! If you have questions, please contact Monique or Holly! Please reference the contact sheet for phone numbers. 

Yard Sign Fundraiser!!! 

Yard sign- $15 each, $1 for personalization

(This one is plain, no personalization) 

(Note the personalization below the Lakers) 

Stickers- $8 each 

(Great for cars, front windows, businesses, and binders/notebooks) 

Order will be placed on June 15!!! Please have all orders to Monique by that time. Profits are listed as follows: 

$9 per sign 

$6 per sticker 

This is honestly an easy fundraiser. It is not required of each cheerleader, but a great money maker! Find those that are Laker fans, football fans, basketball fans, Lakettes, etc!!!
